Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 8, 2026
I want everyone to be able to enjoy and use this site, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology.
What I've done
- Every photograph has a written description (alt text) that screen readers announce.
- Menus, galleries and the full-screen photo viewer work with a keyboard: Tab to move, Enter to open, arrow keys to browse and Escape to close.
- Text and buttons meet recommended colour-contrast levels against the dark background.
- Buttons and links are large enough to tap easily on phones.
- Animations are switched off automatically if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Pages adapt to any screen size and can be zoomed without losing content.
The site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
Known limitations
Photography is a visual medium, so written descriptions can only capture part of each image. If you'd like a more detailed description of any photograph, just ask.
